আমি বাংলায় কথা বলিঃ-১

‘তোমাকে উপড়ে নিলে, বলো তবে কী থাকে আমার?

উনিশ শো’ বাহান্নোর দারুণ রক্তিম পুষ্পাঞ্জলি

বুকে নিয়ে আছো সগৌরবে মহীয়সী।’

ভাষা কী?

ভাষা হল ভাবের বাহন।

আর মাতৃভাষা?

সহজ ভাষায় মাতৃভাষা হল মায়ের ভাষা। আর মা হল জন্মভূমি। মা যেমন আমাদেরকে তাঁর শরীরের রক্তকণা দিয়ে তিল তিল করে গড়ে তোলেন ঠিক তেমনি জন্মভূমিও নিঃস্বার্থভাবে তাঁর আলো-বাতাস-ছায়া দিয়ে আমাদেরকে পরিপূর্ণতা দান করেন। মা আমাদের কাছে যেমন প্রিয় তেমনি মাতৃভাষাও আমাদের কাছে প্রাণের চেয়ে প্রিয়।

 

মায়ের ভাষায় কথা বলার অধিকার আমাদের জন্মগত।

কিন্তু তৎকালীন পাকিস্তানের প্রথম গভর্নর জেনারেল মোহাম্মদ জিন্নাহ সাহেব আমাদের এই অধিকার কেড়ে নিতে চেয়েছিলেন! চাপিয়ে দিতে চেয়েছিলেন উর্দু!কিন্তু অনেক চেষ্টা করেও তিনি পারেননি আমাদের মায়ের ভাষা কেড়ে নিতে!

 

রফিক, সালাম, জব্বাররা নিজেদের রক্ত দিয়ে ছিনিয়ে এনেছিল নিজের ভাষায় মা ডাকার অধিকার!!

কিন্তু জানা অজানায় আমরা আমাদের এই প্রাণ প্রিয় ভাষাকে নানাভাবে অমর্যাদা করে থাকি! বিশেষ করে সামাজিক যোগাযোগের মাধ্যমগুলোতে বাংলা লেখার সময় আমরা যেসব ভুল করি তা অত্যন্ত দৃষ্টিকটু এবং অমার্জনীয়!

 

আমি কোনো ভাষাবিদ না, সাধারণ ছাত্র মাত্র।

আপনি যেরকম ভুল করেন আমিও একই রকম ভুল করি হয়ত তা আমার নিজের চোখে পড়েনা।

তাই আমাদের উচিত একে অন্যের এই ছোটখাটো ভুলগুলো শুধরে দেয়া। ধন্যবাদ।

 

বাংলা টাইপ করতে গিয়ে সাধারণত যে ভুলগুলো হয়–

খায়-খাই, যায়-যাই, চায়-চাই, ঘুমায়-ঘুমাই, বেড়ায়-বেড়াই।।

এখন কথা হল কখন ‘য়’ হবে আর কখন ‘ই’ হবে?

১) ‘উত্তম পুরুষ’ এর বেলায় ‘ই’ হয়। যেমনঃ- আমি যাই, আমরা ঘুমাই, আমার সোনার হরিণ চাই।

২) ‘নাম পুরুষ’ এর বেলায় ‘য়’ হয়। যেমনঃ- সে খায়, রহিম ঘুমায়, বাংলাদেশ বিশ্বকাপ জিততে চায়।

 

##উত্তম পুরুষ- বাক্যের বক্তা যে সর্বনাম দ্বারা নিজেকে বা বক্তার দলের সবাইকে বোঝায়, তাকে উত্তম পুরুষ বলে। যেমনঃ আমি, আমরা, আমাদের।

##নাম পুরুষ- বাক্যের বক্তা এবং শ্রোতা বাদে অন্য যে কোনো ব্যক্তির সম্পর্কে কিছু বলতে গেলে যে সর্বনাম বা বিশেষ্য পদ ব্যবহার করা হয়, তাকে নাম পুরুষ বলে। যেমনঃ সে, তার, তারা, রফিক, সালাম, জব্বার প্রভৃতি।
